Jill M. Gerdrum will be presenting as a panelist at the ATA Litigation Center’s 2022 Trucking Legal Forum on July 11th in Austin, Texas.
In the opening session, “Smiting the Reptile – Extrajudicially: Using Preemptive Best Practices, Pre-Discovery, Discovery, and Legislative Means to Defuse Reptilian Tactics in Casualty Litigation,” Jill’s panel will focus on best practices for motor carriers, how to implement them, and ways to prevent common reptilian tactics used by plaintiffs. The panel will also summarize the various state legislative developments, from across the country, that are helping to begin to lower the inflammatory temperatures of nuclear verdict casualty litigation.
