Matthew Ninneman and Joseph Cavasinni presented at the Colorado Bar Association’s CLE on September 27, 2024. The all-day seminar, “Colorado Construction Law: An All-Encompassing Experience,” focused on the fundamentals of construction law for Colorado attorneys. Mr. Ninneman and Mr. Cavasinni spoke on the varying parties to a construction project, project contracting methodologies, and cost methodologies. The seminar also included presentations on construction warranties, delay claims, construction litigation procedures, intellectual property issues, contract clause management and risk allocation, mechanic’s liens, and dispute resolution. The CBA recently published its updated Practitioner’s Guide to Colorado Construction Law, in which Mr. Ninneman and Mr. Cavasinni co-authored Chapter 1, “The Construction Process and Parties.”
